Fish Ball & Fish Tofu cake



This recipe is a #KusinaNiKayne revision of a Korean snacks - Tuppoki . Because I am having a hard time looking for a rice cake, I have decided to re-create this snack and even make it a viand J
See the recipe below:

Ingredients


  1. 1 pack Fish balls (more or less 10-12 balls) – you can cut it into half or keep it as it is.
  2. 1 pack of Fish Tofu cake rolls (it has 6- rolls) – you may slice it into thin pieces. Shrimp (optional)
  3. Onion
  4. Garlic
  5. Spring onion (for seasoning)
  6. Carrots
  7. Cabbage
  8. Kimchi (if available) – but optional as long as you have carrots and cabbage.
  9. 1 Knorr fish cube (shrimp is also ok)
  10. Salt & Pepper to paste


How to Cook
  • Sauté garlic & onion until translucent
  • Add fish balls & fish tofu cakes, mixed and close the pan for 6 - 8 minutes.

  • Add 1-2 cups of hot water and knorr fish cube, wait until it boils
  • Add 2 spoon-full red pepper paste (you may add more based on how spicy you want it) – mix
  • Keep it until it boils and add vegetables (Carrots, cabbage and kimchi)
  • Season with salt & pepper mix and wait for another 1-2 minutes
  • Your Fish Ball, Fish Tufo cake is now ready!
